O.A. Literary Agency was Created in 1995, by Omiros Avramides who was in the book business since 1976 – as a book translator, book editor and managing editor in a number of publishing companies.
He started working as a literary agent in 1992, as the managing director of the Greek office of a multinational literary agency, before creating his own agency.
In 2002, he resigned and was replaced by his son and assistant Michael Avramides who is now in full charge of the agency.
